Early Life and FamilyBorn in 1956 in Mobile, Alabama, Richard Tyson grew up in a politically influential family. His father was a prominent politician and senator, while his brother, John, is a former district attorney of Mobile County and a Democratic candidate for Alabama Attorney General in 2006.
