Robert Kraft is a famous American businessman, successful entrepreneur, billionaire, founder, chairman, and president of the major company The Kraft Group. He was born on June 5, 1941, in Brookline, Massachusetts.

Early Life and Education

Despite his father's wish for him to become a rabbi, Robert pursued a different path. After completing elementary school, he enrolled in Columbia University in 1959. Later, in 1965, he graduated from Harvard Business School, where he earned an honorary MBA degree.

Career

Kraft began his career working at Rand-Whitney Group, a company that produced packaging materials. Eventually, he acquired the company, and to this day, Kraft still serves as its chairman. In 1972, he founded International Forest Products, a company that traded various paper products. The two companies were later merged into one organization, which became the largest producer of packaging materials and other paper products in the United States. This merger placed them among the top 100 American import-export companies in the industry.

Investments and Philanthropy

In 1986, Kraft started actively investing in various industries, including the entertainment sector. He acquired several Boston radio stations and invested a significant amount of money in WNEV television. Additionally, he participated in other promising projects. One of Kraft's notable achievements was becoming the owner of the New England Patriots, a football team he had long been a fan of.
