Robert Mulligan was an American actor and talented director, known for his work in the film industry worldwide. Early Career
Mulligan began his career in the television industry as a courier for one of the American television companies. However, he quickly proved to be extremely talented and achieved success. By the late 1940s, the future celebrity had directed several television films that became immensely popular in a short period of time. In 1957, Mulligan created his first feature film titled "Fear Strikes Out."

A few years later, Mulligan was honored with the prestigious Academy Award for his remarkable film "To Kill a Mockingbird," an excellent adaptation of Lee Harper's work.
