Robert Young Pelton was born in 1955 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. In his youth, Pelton worked as a driller and lumberjack before starting his career as a copywriter in an advertising agency in Toronto at the age of 17. Later, he moved to the United States, where he worked on various multimedia projects, including at 'Macintosh'. When Robert was around 35 years old, he left the business world and focused on traveling, particularly drawn to military conflicts.
