Carlos Eduardo Robledo Puch - The Angel of Death
Carlos Eduardo Robledo Puch, also known as 'The Angel of Death' and 'The Black Angel', was born on January 22, 1952, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. At the age of twenty, he was found guilty of committing 11 murders, attempted murder, 17 robberies, one rape, attempted rape, two kidnappings, and theft. He killed his victims using various methods: stabbing, shooting, strangling, beating to death with stones, and slitting throats.
A Life Sentence
Robledo Puch was sentenced to life imprisonment and was sent to Sierra Chica, a maximum-security prison located in the outskirts of Olavarria. In July 2000, he was granted parole, but he chose not to request it. However, on May 27, 2008, Puch applied for early release, but his request was denied by the judge due to the continued threat he posed to society. In May 2009, after undergoing psychological evaluations, which revealed his persistent aggressive behavior and lack of morality, his second request for parole was also rejected.
A Desperate Plea for Freedom
In 2010, Puch made his third attempt for parole, which was once again denied. As of now, he has spent 37 years in prison, serving his life sentence.
