Roly Bonevacia
NetherlandsEarly Career
Born in Gorinchem, Netherlands, Bonevacia began his football career with hometown club Reiger Boys. In 2001, he joined the renowned youth academy of Ajax Amsterdam.
Professional Debut
On January 29, 2008, Bonevacia penned a three-year contract with Ajax, effective July 1st of the same year. While he appeared in the squad for several matches, including a Champions League fixture, he did not make his debut until August 14, 2010. In a home game against Vitesse, Ajax claimed a 4-2 victory, with Bonevacia making his Eredivisie debut.
Club Career
Since his debut with Ajax, Bonevacia continued his professional career with several other clubs. He featured for NAC Breda, Roda JC Kerkrade, and Wellington Phoenix in various capacities. In 2021, he signed with Western Sydney Wanderers in Australia.
International Career
Despite his Dutch heritage, Bonevacia has never represented the Netherlands at any international level. He holds both Dutch and Curaçaoan citizenship, but has not yet played for the Curaçao national team.
