Early Life and Youth

Ronald Federico Araujo da Silva was born on March 7, 1999, in Rivera, Uruguay. Raised by a Uruguayan father and a Brazilian mother, Araujo spent his early days in football academies, honing his skills and passion for the sport.

Professional Journey

Early Career in Uruguay

In 2015, Araujo joined Rentistas, making his debut in the Uruguayan Segunda División in 2016. He quickly became a regular starter, scoring his first goal for the club in December of that year.

Boston River and Debut in Primera División

In 2017, Araujo signed with Boston River, where he made his Primera División debut in September. His impressive performances caught the attention of European scouts.

Move to Barcelona

In 2018, Araujo signed a five-year contract with FC Barcelona, joining their B team. After impressing in the lower divisions, he made his La Liga debut in 2019 and was promoted to the first team in 2020.
