Rosa Mendes, born Milena Leticia Roučka on October 25, 1979, is a former Canadian model and current professional wrestler. She has Czech and Costa Rican heritage. Mendes is currently participating in matches for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) under the ring name Rosa Mendes and training in the Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW).
Early Life and Modeling Career
Milena Roučka grew up in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. She was raised by her father and older sister, Chantal. Without a mother figure in her life, Milena developed a tomboyish nature. She studied business at the University of British Columbia for a while but eventually left to pursue a career in the modeling industry. In 2004, she won the "Piel Dorada," one of the largest Latin American modeling competitions, becoming the first North American to achieve this feat. During this time, Milena also appeared in several television commercials, including ones for Trident and Lux soap.
Professional Wrestling Career
Milena made her first appearance in WWE in 2006 as a contestant on the program "Diva Search." Although she only finished fourth in the competition, WWE decided to hire her along with a few other non-winners. Milena underwent training in Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) and began competing under the ring name Roučka. Her initial matches portrayed her as a villainess and accomplice of the villainous group "La Familia." Her first match, a 4x4 women's tag team match, ended in defeat. However, she went on to have a series of successful battles and on September 19, 2007, Milena captured the OVW Women's Championship. She successfully defended the title against Lea in December but eventually lost it to her in February of the following year. Shortly after, WWE severed ties with OVW, and Milena, along with other wrestlers, moved to Florida to compete in FCW. Her debut in Florida took place in March 2008. Milena attempted to become the Queen of FCW but was defeated by Angela in the first match of the tournament. From that moment on, the crown became her obsession, constantly attempting to steal it, but Angela always managed to reclaim it.

Currently, Milena Mendes serves as a manager in the wrestling industry.
