Biography of Rosanna Arquette

American actress Rosanna Lauren Arquette grew up in an acting family and began her career at a young age. Her first major success came when she was still a teenager, with her role in the weekly series "End of the Harvest," starring Bette Davis. She then went on to have several television roles, including in episodes of "James at 15," before making her debut in the film "Gorp." Since then, she has consistently acted in various films, including "Baby, It's You" by John Sayles, "Fathers and Sons" (1986) with Jeff Goldblum, and an episode of "New York Stories" directed by Martin Scorsese. She has also appeared in "Crash and Burn," "Desperately Seeking Susan," "Amazon Women on the Moon," "Eight Million Ways to Die," and "More American Graffiti." Arquette is particularly proud of her unconventional roles in independent studio films, such as "After Hours," "Nobody's Fool," and "Desperately Seeking Susan." She received the British Academy Film Award for her performance in the latter.

Arquette continues to work in television, recently appearing in the ABC series "State of Horror." She has also starred in the NBC series "In the Deep Woods," as well as in "Son of Morning Star," "The Long Way Home," "Class of '65," "Finding Patty Hearst," and "Not That Guy" alongside John Lithgow and Kevin Anderson. She was nominated for an Emmy Award for her work in the controversial film "The Song of the Executioner."
