Roselyn Sanchez is an actress born in 1973 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She grew up in a family of a businessman and a homemaker, alongside three older brothers. After graduating from high school, Roselyn decided to pursue a degree in marketing at the University of Puerto Rico, following in her father's footsteps. However, fate had other plans for her. With her extraordinary beauty and charisma, Roselyn shifted her focus to the entertainment industry, dedicating her efforts to studying acting, dancing, and singing.
Early Career
In the early 90s, Roselyn participated in a variety show called "Que Vacilon," which gained success beyond Puerto Rico. In 1993, she was crowned "Miss Puerto Rico Petite," and in 1994, she held the title of "Miss America Petite." Roselyn also pursued a music career, releasing her first official album, "Borinqueña," in 2003. The album's track "Amor Amor" received a nomination for a Latin Grammy.
Acting Career
To further her acting career, Roselyn Sanchez moved from Puerto Rico to New York. Her first film appearance was in the 1992 adventure comedy "Captain Ron."
