Ross Shor Lynch is an American actor, singer, dancer, and musician. He gained recognition through his lead role in the Disney Channel series "Austin & Ally". However, Ross has achieved impressive success in both acting and music.
Early Life and Education
Ross Lynch was born and raised in Littleton, Colorado. He is the fourth of five children. From the 4th grade, Ross was homeschooled and developed interests in playing the guitar, piano, and singing.
In 2007, Ross and his family moved to California as his older brother, Riker Lynch, wanted to pursue a career in show business. Ross's passion for music led him to learn how to play the piano, drums, and bass, but his favorite instrument is the guitar.
Dancing and Early Career
Ross Lynch was a member of the dance crew "Rage Boyz Crew" for some time. He also participated in television shows like "So You Think You Can Dance" and "Moises Rules!".
In 2009, Ross appeared in the "Kidz Bop" music video for the song "Let It Rock". He also made an appearance in American singer Cymphonique Miller's music video "Lil' Miss Swagger".
Austin & Ally and Music Career
In the beginning of 2011, Ross Lynch landed the lead role of Austin Moon in the Disney Channel series "Austin & Ally". The show premiered in December 2011 and received positive feedback, leading to multiple seasons.
