Biography of Rupert Grint
Rupert Michael Grint, an actor known for his role as Ron in the 'Harry Potter' series, was born on August 24, 1988, in the family of Joe and Nigel Grint. He was the first child among five siblings in his family. Similar to Emma, he participated in small school plays and excelled in them. Being a big fan of the Harry Potter books, he says that he resembles Ron a lot. And indeed, Rupert loves sweets, is afraid of spiders, has a large family, and to top it all off, he has red hair. Undoubtedly, he was not coincidentally chosen for the role of Ron, and it's worth telling the story of how he auditioned. Firstly, upon learning about the casting, he set his mind to do whatever it takes to get this role. And here's what he did: Rupert dressed up as his drama teacher (a woman!) and composed a rap song where he explains why he wants to become Ron. And it worked. Warner Bros. decided that Rupert would play Ron in the best possible way. And it happened. ;)

"When I first came to the set, I was very nervous, I didn't know what to do. It was all new, but now I'm used to this daily work." Now he is a professional, famous for his role, playing alongside Daniel and Emma, and when it comes to their relationship on set, Rupert tactfully responds, "We have all grown a little bit taller and, of course, matured." At 17, Rupert is the oldest of the three, but that doesn't mean he takes advantage of it. "Daniel and Emma are very mature, and Daniel is also very smart," Rupert modestly adds. But the role of Ron is not the only one. After his unique triumph in Harry Potter, Rupert starred in the film "Thunderpants" in 2002, where he played a genius boy in science who quickly befriends Patrick, a boy with not quite ordinary problems. Together, they embark on fantastic adventures that lead them all the way to the Space Center in the USA. There is a lot of free time on the set of "Harry Potter," and Rupert, finally finished with school, found other activities to occupy himself. He started building a model airplane with a real engine. He is assisted in this challenging task by his co-stars, the Phelps twins. "We haven't finished assembling it yet, but when we do, it will be able to fly!" Rupert laughs. And the trio also made their own film about the adventures of a LEGO figure: "We had a camera, and we decided to shoot a short video. I learned animation in art class, so we made progress, and everyone had fun." Rupert has just finished filming the movie "Driving Lessons." "Working on the fourth film took a total of a year. During all this time, I was Ron. So it was cool to drive a car." In real life, he is just learning to drive, but his family is not as worried about him as his mother in the new film: "My parents always understand and support me, and they always let me do what I want." But along with worldwide success, significant rumors arise that Rupert does not take seriously, but he enjoys recalling a couple of completely ridiculous ones: "I remember they said I was going to play an Oompa Loompa in the film 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,'" says Rupert, laughing, "Isn't that funny?!"
