Career at Franklin Resources

Joining forces with his brother Charles, Rupert Johnson Jr. played a pivotal role in the growth and expansion of Franklin Resources. During the mid-1980s, when many organizations were establishing funds overseas, Franklin Resources continued to offer its services exclusively to American clients. The company provided credit cards, consumer loans, and deposit certificates.
