Early Life and Education
Born on March 12, 1979 in Schwerin, Germany, the Ukrainian entrepreneur and politician graduated with honors from East Ukrainian National Volodymyr Dahl University in 2001. He earned a Master's degree in Economics and completed his postgraduate studies at Luhansk National University in 2008. He subsequently defended his dissertation and obtained a PhD in Economics and Enterprise Management.
Business Career
From 1998 to 2004, he operated as a private entrepreneur. Between 2004 and 2010, he held managerial positions at InterShina LLC. From 2010 to 2019, he served as Commercial Director and co-founder of InterGuma-2010 LLC. Concurrently, he was Director and co-founder of InterShina UA LLC from 2014 to 2019. In compliance with Ukrainian law, he divested his corporate holdings upon his election to public office.
Political Career
In 2010, he was elected to the Luhansk City Council. Following the outbreak of the Russian Spring, he relocated to mainland Ukraine. In 2019, he was elected to the 9th Verkhovna Rada (Ukrainian Parliament) on the party list of Servant of the People. He currently serves as Deputy Head of the Parliamentary Committee on Human Rights, De-occupation, and Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories in Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts, the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Sevastopol, National Minorities, and Interethnic Relations.
Personal Life
Married to Olga, they have two sons, Mikhail and Oлександр. In 2014, amidst the ongoing conflict in Donbas, he evacuated his family and a significant portion of his workforce to Kyiv. In the capital, he assisted his employees in acquiring housing and established a dormitory. As a result of the military operations in the region, he incurred substantial asset losses.
