Ruslan Salei is a Belarusian ice hockey player who has been representing the Belarus national team since 1993. He has played 66 matches and has accumulated 31 points (11 goals and 20 assists) with a total of 107 penalty minutes as of May 10, 2009. Salei is currently playing in the NHL for the Colorado Avalanche.

Early Life and Career

Ruslan Salei was born in Belarus and developed his hockey skills at the Minsk Youth Hockey School. He emerged as a talented player and was selected to join the Belarus national team, making his debut in 1993.

Achievements

Salei has participated in several major ice hockey events, including the Olympic Games in Nagano and Salt Lake City. He has also represented Belarus in the World Championships, playing in the Group C in 1994 and 1995, and in the first division in 1998, 2000, 2001, 2004, 2008, and 2009.
