Ryan Kavanaugh is an American film producer and financier. He was born on December 4, 1974, in Los Angeles, California, to Leslie Kavanaugh, a real estate agent, and Jack Kavanaugh, a dentist turned businessman. Ryan grew up in Brentwood and attended Brentwood High School. He later studied at the University of California, Los Angeles, and is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in physics at the University of Southern California. He resides in Malibu.
