Biography of Ryan Merriman
Ryan Merriman, an American actor, was born on April 10, 1983, in the small town of Choctaw, Oklahoma. His parents, Earl and Nona Merriman, have German ancestry on his father's side and English and Scottish roots on his mother's side. Ryan married Mikaela Duncan on June 25, 2004, whom he had been dating since high school. Some of his closest friends are his co-stars from various films. Friends describe Ryan as funny, charismatic, and highly intelligent.

Early Career
Ryan Merriman began his acting career as a child, appearing in commercials and brochures. He then started performing in amateur theater productions in his hometown of Oklahoma. Over the years, the young actor has appeared in more than thirty Hollywood films and TV shows.

Rise to Fame
Merriman's first significant role was in the sitcom "The Mommies," which aired from 1993 to 1995. During this time, he also had small roles in the TV series "The Client" and the film "What's Right with America." Producers recognized Ryan's undeniable acting talent, and from 1996 to 2000, he appeared in 44 episodes of the series "The Pretender" as the young Jarod, the main character with the unique ability to impersonate people of any profession. In addition to his acting career, Ryan enjoys activities such as rollerblading, golf, basketball, motocross, team and water sports, horseback riding, imitating British accents and American regional accents, martial arts, paintball, skiing, and snowboarding. He supports the Oklahoma non-profit organization "Neonatal Parents Network," which assists families with sick or premature babies. Merriman also participates in the activities organized by "Eagle Mount," an organization based in Montana that offers horseback riding, skiing, summer camps, and other special activities for disabled children. While the Merrimans own a small house in Los Angeles, they spend most of their time in Oklahoma.
