Alison Munn, an American actress, is best known for her role in the comedy TV series "What I Like About You" (2002-2006). Born on October 7, 1974, in Columbia, Western California, Alison was raised in a family of Nadine and Russell Munn. Her mother, a primary school teacher, introduced her to dance and music, nurturing her love for the arts. Alison graduated from AC Flora High School and Charleston College. After receiving her diploma, she headed to New York, where she landed a role in the off-Broadway play "The Fantasticks."

Early Career and Success

Soon, Alison started getting small roles in Hollywood projects, the most successful ones being "White Oleander" with Michelle Pfeiffer in the lead role and "Elizabethtown" directed by Cameron Crowe. However, her breakthrough came in 2002 when she was cast in the comedy series "What I Like About You," alongside Amanda Bynes and Jennie Garth.
