Sachie Ishizu
Sachie Ishizu is a Japanese professional tennis player. She has won 10 ITF tournaments (nine in singles), and was the runner-up in one junior Grand Slam singles tournament (2010 Wimbledon). She was also a former world No. 5 in the junior rankings.
Personal Life
Ishizu's parents are Yasuhiko (her coach) and Toshie. She was born in Tokyo, Japan, and began playing tennis at the age of four.
Career
Ishizu began her professional tennis career in 2013. She quickly rose through the junior ranks, and in 2010, she reached the final of the Wimbledon junior tournament, where she lost to Ashleigh Barty. The following year, she won her first ITF title in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt.
In 2014, Ishizu made her Grand Slam debut at the Australian Open. She reached the second round of both the singles and doubles tournaments. She also won her first WTA Challenger title in Suzhou, China.
