Youth Career and Club Debut

Salih Al-Dawsari, a renowned Saudi midfielder, began his football journey at Al-Hilal FC in Riyadh. On November 24, 2011, he made his debut in the Saudi Pro League, coming off the bench in the second half against Al-Nassr. Remarkably, within 12 minutes of his entry, he scored his first goal at the professional level, helping his team secure a decisive win.

International Debut and Impact

Al-Dawsari earned his international debut on February 29, 2012, against Australia in the FIFA World Cup 2014 qualifiers. Starting the match, he opened the scoring in the 19th minute, showcasing his exceptional talent. Despite his impressive start, Saudi Arabia ultimately lost the encounter.

On June 8, 2017, during another World Cup qualifier against Australia, Al-Dawsari once again found the back of the net, leveling the score at 23 minutes. However, history repeated itself as Saudi Arabia succumbed to defeat once more.

Al-Dawsari played a pivotal role in all three matches for Saudi Arabia during the unsuccessful 2015 Asian Cup in Australia.
