Sam Anderson was born on May 13, 1945, in Wahpeton, North Dakota. He graduated from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks.
Teaching Career
After graduating, Anderson became a drama teacher at Antelope Valley College in Lancaster, California, in the early 1970s. He taught drama for several years before pursuing an acting career.
Television Career
Anderson's television career began in 1978. He has appeared in numerous television shows, including "The X-Files," "The A-Team," and "Angel." His most notable television role was as Mr. Gorpley in the series "Stranger Things."
Film Career
Anderson made his film debut in 1995 with "The Usual Suspects," in which he played the role of Ray Berg. Since then, he has appeared in several films, including "Forrest Gump" (1994), "The Big Lebowski" (2002), and "The Last Kiss" (2006).
