Early Life and Education

Merited Artist of the Kyrgyz Republic, the celebrated singer and actress, was born in Naukat district, Osh region. In 1981, she joined the Osh State Z.M. Bobur Drama Theater. Aspiring for further artistic growth, she enrolled in the Tashkent State A.N. Ostrovsky Theatre and Art Institute in 1982, completing her studies in 1987 with a specialization in Musical Comedy Theater. Her mentors included Gulshan Khakimovna, Vadim Petrovich, Gulzara Kholboeva (vocals), and renowned Uzbek artists and singers Esan Lutfillaev, Fattokhon Mamadaliev, and composer A. Ismailov.

Theatrical Career

At the theater, she was guided by the artistic directors Y. Makhmudov and Z. Shokirov. Her breakthrough role came in 2001, where she portrayed the lead character of Rano in the play "Scorpion of the Altar" by Nematjon Nematov. From 2001 to 2013, she conducted numerous solo concerts, the last of which was dedicated to her husband, Alimkhodzhi Umarhodzhaev. She continues to pursue her artistic endeavors.

Notable Roles

On stage, she has portrayed a range of characters, including Okki in "Ravshan and Zulkhumor," Oidin in "When the Earth Burns," Ok Erka in "The Secret That Genghis Khan Took," Selki in "The Long Road to Mecca," and Uvaysi in "Nodira."

Film and Television

Expanding her artistic horizon, she has also appeared in the Kyrgyz television series "Obshaga," where she played the role of Tahmina's mother.

Music

Her musical repertoire includes captivating songs such as "Zikir Ushshok," "Savti Miskin," "Dil Kuyilarim," "Oromijonim Yalli," "Ishk Ichra," "Vatan," "Kechalar," "Allah," "Maylim," "Bakht Izlab," "Yor-Yor," "Sevgi Yolgon Ekan," "Tumarym," "Kelmading," and many more.

Awards and Recognition

Her contributions to the arts have been recognized through numerous awards and honors, including the "Honorary Diploma of the Kyrgyz Republic," the title of "Merited Artist of the Kyrgyz Republic," and "Best Singer of 2003 and 2013."

Pilgrimages

In 2014, she embarked on the Grand Hajj to Mecca, Saudi Arabia, and in 2018, she made the Lesser Hajj to the holy city.
