Sammy Wilson, a 26-year-old Georgia resident, has shrunk her waist to an astonishing 21 inches (53 centimeters) in pursuit of a Guinness World Record.

Journey to a Miniature Waist

Wilson embarked on her weight loss journey in April 2019. After shedding excess pounds, she decided to add curves to her figure by wearing an 15-inch (38-centimeter) corset for up to 18 hours a day. Her ultimate goal is to possess the world's smallest waist, measuring approximately 14 inches (35 centimeters), which would be roughly the size of an average newborn baby's head and just three centimeters smaller than the current world record. To maximize results, she endures 36-hour corsetless marathons once a month.

Public Scrutiny and Negativity

Wilson's unconventional body modification has garnered both admiration and criticism. She frequently encounters negative reactions from strangers on the street: "People stare at me when I'm out shopping, and sometimes they even stop me and ask why my waist is so small and if it hurts. Some call me a freak and a freak," she shared.

Despite the negativity, Wilson believes her diminished waistline has significantly improved her life: "I have more guys wanting to date me, and people notice me more. I just want to see how far I can go."
