Sebastien Gattuso: Olympic Sprinter and Bobsledder
Athletics CareerSebastien Gattuso, representing Monaco, raced in the 100-meter dash at the Summer Olympics in 2004. Finishing with a time of 10.58 seconds, he placed seventh in his heat but failed to advance to the next round. Nonetheless, his result established a new national record for Monaco and a personal best.
Gattuso has also competed in numerous international athletics events, including the European Athletics Championships (2002), World Athletics Championships (2003), and World Athletics Indoor Championships (2004 and 2007). However, he was unable to reach the finals in any of these competitions.
Bobsledding Career
In addition to his athletics career, Gattuso competed in bobsledding. At the 2002 Winter Olympics, he participated in the two-man and four-man events, finishing 22nd and 28th respectively.
Olympic Honors
At the Opening Ceremony of the 2004 Summer Olympics, Gattuso carried the flag for the Monaco delegation.
