Early Life and Career

Born in Ukraine, Serhiy Kolesnichenko began his football journey at the renowned Donetsk Shakhtar academy. In 2004, he made his debut for Shakhtar-3 in the Ukrainian Second League.

Moscow and Minsk

From 2005 to 2006, Kolesnichenko played for the reserve team of Moscow's Dynamo Moscow. In 2007, he joined the Belarusian club Darida.

Failed Trials and a New Home

Despite a trial at Odessa's Chornomorets in 2008, Kolesnichenko was not signed by the club. Summer 2008 brought a potential move to Oleksandria, but it ultimately fell through. Finally, in October 2008, he joined Zarya Luhansk.

Zarya and Beyond

Kolesnichenko made his Zarya debut against Dynamo Kyiv on October 17, 2008, in a 5-0 defeat. He played 23 games for the team before transferring to Alchevsk's Stal.

Alexandriya and Olympics

In summer 2012, Kolesnichenko moved to Alexandriya, where he wore the number 8 jersey. The team won the bronze medal in the Ukrainian First League that season, with Kolesnichenko making 13 appearances. He then moved to Olimpik Donetsk but did not play for the main team.

Career End and Coaching

In March 2014, Kolesnichenko joined Shakhtar Sverdlovsk, taking the number 23. However, a torn cruciate ligament forced him to retire from football.

Education and Later Career

In 2012, Kolesnichenko graduated from Luhansk National University with a degree in coaching. Since 2014, he has lived in Sevastopol. In 2016, he became a youth coach at local club Olimpiya. In 2018, he became a development coach at Sevastopol.
