Military Career

Sergei Kozyrev is a graduate of the Ordzhonikidze Higher Military Command School. He served in the Armed Forces until 1997.

Business and Public Service

In 2000, Kozyrev became the director of the "Sberegatelny" Non-Profit Foundation, which was established with the support of the Leningrad Region government. From 2005 to 2011, he served as Vice-Governor and Chief of Staff of the Leningrad Region.

Vice-Governor of Saint Petersburg

In 2011, Kozyrev was appointed as Vice-Governor of Saint Petersburg, a position he has held to this day.
