Sergey Mak-Mak: A Ukrainian Powerlifting Champion
Early Life and EducationSergey Olegovich Mak-Mak was born on June 20, 2001, in Mariupol, Ukraine. His parents are Oleg Sergeevich Mak-Mak and Larisa Alexandrovna. In 2017, he graduated from the Gymnasium with the Structural Division of the Primary School No. 38 of the Mariupol City Council.
Swimming to Powerlifting
Before his journey in powerlifting, Sergey was actively involved in swimming. However, at the age of 15, he transitioned to the sport of powerlifting.
Powerlifting Career
Sergey began his powerlifting career under the guidance of his coach, Vasily Golivec. His competitive debut took place on April 2, 2016, in Cherkasy. Remarkably, he secured first place in multiple lifts.
Accomplishments and Records
Over the years, Sergey has achieved numerous accolades and set several records. He is a multiple champion in Ukraine, Europe, and the world in various powerlifting federations, including the UBPF, WDFPF, ErWPA, and WPC-UKR. He has also emerged victorious in several international tournaments. Sergey's exceptional achievements have earned him the distinction of Master of Sports of International Class.
