Sergey Parfenov, a renowned Russian actor, was born in 1966. He had always dreamed of performing and dedicated himself to achieving his goal from a young age. Parfenov participated in school plays, joined agitbrigades, took part in comedy shows, performed in support groups, learned to dance beautifully, and even tried his hand at playing the piano. After successfully completing high school, he was admitted to the prestigious BV Shchukin Theatre School, graduating in 1986.
Parfenov began his professional acting career in 2003 at a well-known theater on Malaya Bronnaya Street. Prior to that, he had briefly worked with the renowned RAMT theater and had performed on the esteemed stage of the Moscow Satire Theater. Parfenov always considered himself a theatrical actor, but he was also open to appearing in front of the camera whenever the opportunity arose.
His debut on screen was an episodic role in the film "The Story of Asya Klachina, Who Loved, But Did Not Get Married" directed by Konchalovsky. Subsequently, he appeared in a brief scene in the film "Journey Back Home". After a long gap of 17 years, during which Parfenov focused on his theater work, he landed the lead role in the film "The Golden Woman" in 1986. This role showcased his talent and acting abilities, establishing him as a versatile actor.
A year later, Parfenov portrayed the character of Captain Olkhovik in the film "State Border: Film 6 - Beyond the Victory Threshold", in which he convincingly depicted a Soviet border officer who infiltrates a gang of OUN members, helps the border guards defeat the criminals, discovers hidden lists of Hitler's agents, and captures an American spy. Parfenov also had notable roles in the film "Lieutenant S", which explored complex army relationships, and in the detective series "Petersburg Police Detective", in which he delivered a convincingly realistic performance while other well-known actors played their roles in a slightly theatrical yet colorful manner.
After a 14-year hiatus from the screen, Parfenov began receiving invitations for roles in television series. His debut in this medium was in the sitcom "A Close-Knit Family", a family-oriented situational comedy. He then joined the cast of the popular and heartwarming series "Daddy's Daughters", where he seamlessly merged into the emotional pace of the show as the kind-hearted character Stanislav Ivanovich Zakharov, the father of one of the main characters.
