Biography of Sergey Savka

Sergey Savka is a Ukrainian magician, illusionist, manipulator, and television presenter. He is best known as the author and host of the popular segment "Great Illusion" on the Inter TV channel's morning show "Morning with Inter" in 2013. He also created and hosted the grand project "Great Illusion in Cyprus" on the 1+1 TV channel in 2014. Sergey is the recipient of the prestigious "Merlin Award - 2014".

Early Life and Family
Sergey was born into a family of renowned Ukrainian magician Stepan Savka and Honored Artist of Ukraine Galina Savka. His parents were the authors and hosts of the successful TV show "Savka's Beehive" ("Vulik pana Savka"), which aired on the First National Channel of Ukraine from 1998 to 2003. They were also known for their program "Seventh Heaven", which aired from 2003 to 2006 on Ukrainian TV channels ICTV and K1. Sergey's sister, Marianna Savka, is a singer. He is married and has a son named Nikita.

Education and Achievements
In 1999, Sergey graduated from the Kiev Variety and Circus School as an artist-illusionist and manipulator. In 2004, he received a red diploma from the Kiev National University of Culture and Arts, specializing in stage direction for entertainment and mass celebrations. Sergey Savka is a laureate of the All-Ukrainian competition of variety artists. He has participated in numerous television projects and has performed on stages in Korea, Bulgaria, Greece, Egypt, Georgia, Hungary, and Turkey.

Recognition and Awards
In 2012, Sergey met and had a conversation with the world-famous illusionist David Copperfield in Las Vegas. In February 2013, he received the "Recognition of the Year - 2012" award for his contribution to creating a positive image of Ukraine. The same year, other respected individuals such as Leonid Kravchuk, Nina Matvienko, and Vitaliy Zholobov also received this award in different fields.

TV Show "Magic Attack"
From October 16, 2011, Sergey Savka's own TV show "Magic Attack" aired on the First National Channel of Ukraine. The program featured various genres, including street magic, mega-tricks, and star magic. In the street magic segment, Sergey would surprise passersby with his tricks, while four camera operators followed him around the city, capturing everything in a reality show style. The mega-trick segment aimed to give viewers and ordinary people an adrenaline rush, fear, and stress. Sergey performed dangerous stunts, such as self-immolation, being hit by a 10-ton truck, and escaping from a straitjacket while suspended upside down from a 5-story building in less than a minute, breaking the record of world-famous illusionist Harry Houdini. The star magic segment allowed popular personalities in Ukraine, including Vasily Bondarchuk, Olga Sumskaya, Viktor Pavlik, Vlad Darvin, Natalya Valevska, Leri Winn, and Vladimir Tkachenko, to experience being part of professional illusions and tricks.
