Biography of Sergey Velichko

Sergey Velichko is a Ukrainian football player and goalkeeper, as well as a Master of Sports of Ukraine. He is currently working as a goalkeeper coach at FC Sevastopol. Velichko began his career at the Sports School of Olympic Reserve (SDYUSHOR) "Tavriya" in Simferopol, where he was trained by Vladimir Tukhovsky.
During his career, he played for several teams including "Dynamo" (Saki), "Tavriya", "Dynamo" (Simferopol), "Zakarpattia", and "Neftyanik-Ukrnafta".
He made his debut for "Neftyanik-Ukrnafta" on June 24, 2006, in a match against Chernihiv's "Desna", where he conceded 1 goal. In January 2009, Velichko transferred to the club "Vorskla".
Sergey Velichko has also been called up to the Ukrainian youth national team.
One of his notable achievements includes winning the Ukrainian Cup in the 2008/09 season.
