Early Life and Education
Sergei was born on February 11, 1982, in Riga, the capital of Latvia. He grew up in the Moscow Forstadt district, which was considered a disadvantaged area. At the age of seven, he began practicing karate, and at 12, he switched to boxing. He actively participated in various youth boxing tournaments.
Schooling and Military Service
From 1989 to 1997, Sergei attended Secondary School No. 32, where he completed nine grades. In 1997, he enrolled in Vocational School No. 3 and studied metalworking. After graduating in 2000, he served in the Latvian army until 2001. From 2002 to 2005, he attended Secondary School No. 57 and obtained his upper secondary diploma.
Higher Education and Boxing Certification
In 2005, Sergei entered the Latvian Academy of Sports Pedagogy. He graduated in 2010, earning a bachelor's degree in sports education and the qualification of "Senior Boxing Coach and Sports Teacher."
