Sergio Rodriguez Garcia is a Spanish football player who currently plays as a defender for Moscow's "Spartak" football club. He started his career as a youth player at the famous "Barcelona" club and made his debut for the first team on December 11, 2004, playing for just 2 minutes in a match against "Albacete", which ended in a 2-1 victory for Barcelona. However, during that season, Rodriguez mainly played for Barcelona B.

In the summer of 2006, he transferred to "Deportivo La Coruna", but was unable to secure a place in the starting lineup and was loaned out to various clubs during the 2007/08 and 2008/09 seasons.
