Early Life and Education
Born in 1964 in Shemakha, Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijani historian and historiographer pursued her studies at the Faculty of History, Baku State University (BSU), from 1982 to 1986, graduating with honors.
Academic Career
After graduating from BSU, she joined the Department of Source Studies, Historiography, and Methodology in 1994. In 1999, she successfully defended her dissertation on the topic of "Historical Views of M. Kazim-Bek."
Teaching and Research
She has held the position of Senior Lecturer since 2001. Her teaching responsibilities include courses such as:
- Source Studies of the History of Caucasus
- Historiography of the History of Caucasus- Historiography of the History of Azerbaijan
- Historical Knowledge as a Science
- Anti-Soviet Movements in Azerbaijan in the 1920s and 1930s
- Genesis of Capitalism in Azerbaijan and its Peculiarities
