Biography of Shae-Lynn Bourne

Shae-Lynn Bourne is a Canadian figure skater who achieved great success in ice dancing with her partner Victor Kraatz. They are World Champions, three-time Four Continents Champions, and ten-time Canadian Champions. Bourne started figure skating at the age of 7, initially focusing on pair skating with Andrew Bertleff. Later, she transitioned to ice dancing and partnered with Victor Kraatz. Shae-Lynn and Victor worked with several coaches throughout their career, including Tatiana Tarasova, Natalia Dubova, and Nikolai Morozov. In 2003, after winning the World Championships, the pair retired from competitive skating.


Since 2003, Shae-Lynn Bourne has been performing as a professional solo skater. She has appeared in various shows and tours, such as "Celebration on Ice," "Stars On Ice," and "Champions on Ice." Additionally, she finds time to work as a coach and choreographer. Currently, she coaches the silver medalists of the Canadian Championships in ice dancing, Kaitlyn Weaver and Andrew Poje, and has choreographed programs for Joannie Rochette for the 2008-2009 season.

Personal Life

On August 12, 2005, Shae-Lynn Bourne married Nikolai Morozov (they divorced in July 2007). Shae-Lynn has used her fame to engage in charitable work and has spoken out against child abuse.
