Sheila Kelly, an American actress, is best known for her roles in the films "Home Is Where the Heart Is," "The Big Foam," "The Single Men and the Unmarried Women," "The Bear Hunters," and "The Magnificent Swindle."
Early Life and Education
Sheila Kelly was born on October 9, 1961, in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, USA. She is the daughter of nurse Catherine Holway Tom Kelly and Dr. Jay Hilary Kelly, a professor of mineral and energy resources at West Virginia University. He is also an engineer and inventor.
At a young age, Kelly studied ballet and later enrolled in the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. However, due to concerns about the impact of rigorous dance training on her hips, she was advised by doctors to switch her focus to directing and acting. She also studied with Michael Howard.
Personal Life
Sheila Kelly is married to actor Richard Schiff, and the couple has two children.
