Early Life and Education

Ralph completed high school at the age of 16 and graduated from Rutgers University in 1975 at the age of 19. She missed her graduation ceremony as she was filming a commercial for Skippy peanut butter. However, years later, Ralph had the honor of being the commencement speaker for Rutgers' graduation in 2003.

Ralph has appeared in various television shows such as "Clean House," "It's a Living," "New Attitude," "Designing Women," "Moesha," "The Parkers," and "ER." She has also had roles in films like "Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit," "The Flintstones," "The Mighty Quinn," and "The Distinguished Gentleman."

Musical Career

Ralph gained recognition for her infectious anthem, "In the Evening," which became one of the top-selling dance hits in the mid-1980s. She also had a remake of "Here Comes The Rain Again" in the 1990s.
