Biography of Sheryl Sandberg
Sheryl Sandberg is an influential businesswoman who currently serves as the Vice President of Global Online Sales and Operations at Facebook. She has had a successful career in various leadership roles before joining Google in 2001.
Early Career and Education
Prior to her time at Google, Sandberg held the position of Chief of Staff in the U.S. Department of the Treasury, where she oversaw the debt forgiveness efforts for developing countries. She also worked as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company and as an economist at The World Bank, leading a program to combat leprosy in India.
Sandberg graduated from Harvard University with a bachelor's degree in Economics, earning the highest honors.
