Biography of Shristi Shresta

Shristi Shresta is a Nepalese model and beauty pageant contestant. In 2012, she won the title of 'Miss Nepal' by defeating 15 other competitors. As the winner of the national pageant, she represented Nepal in the 'Miss World 2012' competition held on August 18, 2012, in Inner Mongolia, China.

Education and Career

Shristi received her education in London, where she attended nursing courses. Currently, she resides in Barnet, London. Shristi Shresta is the first 'Miss Nepal' to reach the quarter-finals of the 'Miss World' competition. In the overall ranking, she secured the 25th position. However, she impressed the judges in the swimsuit competition and was placed 8th. She also made it to the top ten in the multimedia award category. Shristi showcased her talent as a dancer and was selected as one of the best dancers in the competition.

Interests and Inspirations

In her free time between runway performances, Shristi enjoys dancing, reading, cooking, and traveling. She considers Angelina Jolie as her idol and role model. Shristi admires Angelina Jolie not only for her exceptional career but also for her willingness to help those in need.

Mission and Future Plans

Shristi believes that the title of 'Miss Nepal' can only be achieved by someone who possesses both beauty and intelligence, along with a strong desire to use their intellect for the betterment of society. Her primary concern among global issues is human trafficking, and she is determined to do everything in her power to address this problem.

Currently, Shristi plans to focus on self-improvement. By achieving personal success, she aims to make a greater impact in helping those in need. She also contemplates a career in the advertising industry, particularly promoting skincare and bodycare products. However, she emphasizes that she will only collaborate with companies that do not test their products on animals and prioritize the use of natural materials, preferably of Nepalese origin.
