Sidor Kizin

Born in Zhytomyr on November 15, 1975, Serhiy Mashkovsky played an active role in the Kyiv hunger strikes and protests in October 1990. In 1998, he graduated from the Faculty of Law at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv with a degree in Law.
Legal Career
Mashkovsky's legal career began in 1994 with positions in a district court in Lviv. In 2002, he entered private practice and became a member of the Zhytomyr Bar Association. He co-founded the law firm "Portnov and Partners" and later became a partner in "Kyzin, Chibisov and Partners." In 2007, he joined the law firm "Bondarchuk, Kyzin and Partners."
Political Activism
Joining the All-Ukrainian Union "Svoboda" in 2009, Mashkovsky rose to become the head of the organization's Zhytomyr regional branch in 2010. As an advocate for political prisoners and oppositional journalists, he represented figures such as Elena Belozerskaya and defended cases related to damaged Lenin and Stalin monuments.
Role in the 2014 Revolution
Mashkovsky played a key role in the Euromaidan revolution of 2014. On March 2, he was appointed as Chairman of the Zhytomyr Regional State Administration by Acting President Oleksandr Turchynov. He served in this position until July 22, 2014.
Political Career
In 2015, Mashkovsky was elected as a deputy to the Zhytomyr Regional Council. He headed the Standing Commission on Law, Regulations, and Local Self-Government.
