Determined to pursue his musical aspirations, Fowler reconnected with former bandmates from "The Fanatics." In 1979, they forged the band "Ocean Colour Scene," with Fowler as lead vocalist and guitarist. The band's lineup was completed by Damon Harrison and Steve Craddock.
