Blessed Stanislaw Fudala

Early Life and Vocation

In 1918, Stanislaw Fudala joined the novitiate of the Franciscan Capuchin Order. On May 22, 1925, he professed his religious vows.

Arrest and Imprisonment

On June 27, 1941, Fudala was arrested by the Gestapo. He was interned in the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp on September 3, 1941, under the prisoner number 20364.

Life in Auschwitz

During his imprisonment, Fudala risked his own safety to hide other prisoners, saving their lives. His compassionate actions exemplified the Christian spirit of love and sacrifice.

Martyrdom

Fudala's fate remains unknown, but he is presumed to have been martyred during his time at Auschwitz. His selfless acts and unwavering faith made him a symbol of resilience and hope in the face of unspeakable horrors.

Beatification
