Biography of Slava Frolova
Slava Frolova is a Ukrainian television presenter, journalist, and director. She is also a member of the jury on one of Ukraine's highest-rated television shows, "Ukraine's Got Talent" on the STB channel, which is based on the original "Got Talent" format.
Early Life and Education
Slava Frolova was born in Odessa, Ukraine, on June 9, 1976, into a family of a sailor. From a young age, she had a passion for the arts and enrolled in the Yasha Gordienko Studio of Fine Arts at the Odessa Palace of Pioneers. She later attended the K.K. Kostandi Children's Art School, where she developed a serious interest in sculpture. She completed her secondary education at Gymnasium No.9 in Odessa. In 1992, Slava was admitted to the M.B. Grekov Odessa State Art School, specializing in sculpture. She graduated as a graphic artist.
Career
In 1993, Slava began working as a radio presenter for the "Glas" radio station, which was part of the Odessa Television and Radio Company "Glas." By 1995, she became the head of the advertising and television production studio for the Odessa "45 TV Channel" and continued her work as a radio presenter. In 1998, she moved to Kyiv where she initially worked as a director at "KTM" (Cable Television of the City) and enrolled at the Kyiv National University of Culture and Arts, specializing in television and film directing under the guidance of Igor Negresko.
Towards the end of 1998, Slava started working as a presenter and art director at the fashionable night club "Dynamo Lux" and also hosted on the "Super-Nova" radio station, which broadcasted live from concerts organized by Slava. She also worked on the newly opened "Novyi Kanal" as a presenter for the morning show "Podium." Slava continued her career as a radio presenter on stations such as "Radioaktivnost," "Russkoe Radio," and "Gala Radio." She also served as a presenter on the well-known music channel "BIZ-TV."
Slava pursued her third higher education at the Karpenko-Karyi Kyiv National University of Theatre, Film, and Television, specializing in drama theater directing. In 2001, she became the art director of the "Kozyrna Karta" restaurant chain and in 2002, she opened her own creative agency called "ARBUZ." She also worked as a journalist, writing a column called "Dnevnik Bezdelynitsy" (The Lazy Diary) in the "Zefir" magazine under the pseudonym "Manechka Velichko." Additionally, she hosted the morning show "Guten Morgen" on the "M1" channel.
Since 2009, Slava has been one of the three permanent judges on the talent show "Ukraine's Got Talent." In late 2012, she founded the "Slava Frolova-Group," a project aimed at supporting and developing young artists in Ukraine. The project consists of a charity foundation, a union of young artists, and a company that organizes exhibitions, vernissages, and festivals. The main goal of the project is to raise the artistic and cultural level of the country and create a supportive environment for the growth of young Ukrainian artists.
Slava Frolova-Group
In October 2012, Slava organized a project for the development and support of young artists in Ukraine. The project includes a charitable foundation for supporting and developing young art in Ukraine, a union of young artists, and a company that organizes exhibitions, vernissages, and festivals. Within one year of its operation, the project gained the participation of 316 artists and organized 33 exhibitions throughout Ukraine. It also hosted the first large-scale cultural and social festival, "ART-Piknik Slavy Frolovoi" (Slava Frolova's Art Picnic).
Personal Life
In 2003, Slava gave birth to her son, Mark, in Kyiv, and in 2011, she had a daughter named Serafima. Slava keeps her personal life private and does not provide any comments regarding it.
