Stefano Tiozzo is an Italian photographer who became known to Russians after his marriage to singer Sati Kazanova. Little is known about his early life and family background, but he currently resides in Turin, Italy.

Passion for Photography

Tiozzo inherited his passion for photography from his father, a professional photographer. He began taking images seriously at the age of 21 when he received his first professional camera. From that moment on, he relentlessly sought to enhance his technique and equipment, embarking on global travels to capture the beauty of the landscapes he encountered. Tiozzo primarily specializes in landscape photography.

He considers his maiden voyage to Iceland in 2011 as a pivotal experience. "I was mesmerized by the stunning landscapes, the light, the stillness, and the people you meet beyond the Arctic Circle," he recalls on his website. However, his career trajectory was truly transformed in 2012 during a trip to Norway, when he successfully captured the Northern Lights in Tromsø.

Gradually, he progressed from simple "music video" recordings to attempts at storytelling, culminating in his first full-length documentary film, "Torino-Capo Nord: Lonely Road Trip." This project chronicled his solitary journey from Turin to the North Cape, passing through Denmark, the Norwegian fjords, Sweden, and Finland.

Personal Life

Tiozzo met his future wife, Sati Kazanova, in 2016 at his brother's wedding in Germany. Kazanova was a bridesmaid and attracted Tiozzo's attention with her musical performance. Despite their initial hesitation about pursuing a serious relationship, they fell in love quickly and announced their engagement a year later.

Tiozzo exhibits the fruits of his years of dedicated photography and videography on his personal website.
