Stepan Kazanin is an actor of the "95 Kvartal" studio, a television presenter of the shows "Battle of Ukrainian Cities" and "BUM. Battle of Slavs." He participated in the KVN team "Tambovskie Volki" and later became the captain of the KVN team "Tapkiny Deti."
Early Life
Sergey Yuryevich Kazanin was born on December 19, 1974, in the city of Nadyim in the Tyumen region. His father was a driver, and his mother was an engineer. While attending school, he formed a KVN team. After completing school, he studied at the Tambov Institute of Chemical Machine Building, specializing in electrical engineering, and continued to play KVN. During his second year, he served in the army for two years. After his military service, he enrolled at the Vladimir Dal East Ukrainian National University, majoring in economics.
KVN Career
Since 1993, Stepan Kazanin played in the KVN team "Tambovskie Volki" together with Valery Zhidkov, and later in the team "Tapkiny Deti," where he became the captain. He participated in the Kazan, Khanty-Mansiysk, Voronezh, and Kiev Leagues. In 2002, he played in the team of the Moscow State University national team "Nezolotaya Molojyed." He also worked as an operator and journalist for Tambov television. The creative collective in which Kazanin worked was awarded the TEFI for the project about the history of their native region, "Region 68," in the category "Best Regional Program." Thanks to his participation in the Kiev KVN League, he got acquainted with the "95 Kvartal" team and started working with them.
Personal Life
Stepan Kazanin has been married to designer Natalya Kazanina since 1993. They have two sons, Stepan Kazanin (1998) and Pyotr Kazanin (February 15, 2010).
