Early Life and CareerSubodh Gupta, one of the most celebrated contemporary Indian artists, has made a name for himself through his sculptures, objects, and installations. Born in 1964 in Khagaul, Bihar, Gupta's artistic journey began at the College of Art & Crafts in Patna.

Gupta gained international recognition with his unique sculptures and installations made from everyday objects, particularly metallic kitchen utensils. His signature work, "Spill" (2007), features a multitude of small tea kettles spilling out of a large, gleaming bucket.
