Biography of Sydney Rome

Sydney Rome is an Italian actress and singer. She was born in 1951 in Akron, Ohio, USA, into a family of a president of an industrial corporation that produces plastics. In 1970, she moved to Italy.

Acting and Singing Career

Sydney Rome made her debut in the film industry with the role of Flicky in the British director Ralph Thomas' film "Some Girls Do" (1969). She gained popularity as a singer, especially for her performances of songs like "Hearts" (written by Jesse Neal Barish) and "Angelo prepotente".

In the 1980s, Sydney Rome recorded aerobic video courses and appeared in Playboy magazine in February 1982. From the mid-80s onwards, she predominantly appeared in Italian television series.

Personal Life

In 1973, she married Emilio Lari. Currently, she resides in Rome and has two children from her second marriage to Roberto Bernabei.
