Polish historian and academic, Dr. habil. (2009), currently serving as a professor at the Department of History, University of Warsaw.

Early Life and Education

Born August 18, 1965, in Warsaw, Poland. Graduated with an M.A. in history from the University of Warsaw in 1992. In 1998, completed a Ph.D. dissertation on Stanisław Kot (1885-1975), which was published as "Stanisław Kot (1885-1975): Biografia polityczna" (2000).

Academic Career

Joined the University of Warsaw as an adjunct in 1998. In 2009, awarded habilitation degree for his dissertation "Nauki historyczne w Polsce 1944-1970: Zagadnienia polityczne i organizacyjne" (2007), published by the University of Warsaw Press.

Membership and Affiliations

Member of the Historical Society of Warsaw and the Historiography Society.

Research Interests and Expertise

Specializes in the history of Poland and Eastern Europe in the 20th century, science policy, and the history of historiography.
