Diplomatic Career
Early CareerGalibarenko began her diplomatic career in 2000, serving in various roles, including as an attache and third secretary for the Cabinet of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
Department of European and Euro-Atlantic Integration
From 2006 to 2007, Galibarenko held the position of Senior Consultant in the Department of European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of the Main Service for Foreign Policy in the Administration of the President of Ukraine.
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs
In 2009, Galibarenko became the head of the sector for ensuring the work of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. She later became the head of the department and deputy director of the department in charge of cooperation in politics, defense, and security within the Department of the European Union of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
Deputy Permanent Representative to International Organizations in Vienna
From October 2012 to March 2014, Galibarenko served as the Deputy Permanent Representative of Ukraine to international organizations in Vienna.
First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs
In March 2014, Galibarenko was appointed the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, a position she held until December 2015.
Ambassador to the United Kingdom and Permanent Representative to the International Maritime Organization
Appointment and Credentials
On August 26, 2015, Galibarenko was appointed as the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine to the United Kingdom. She presented her credentials to Queen Elizabeth II on May 2, 2016.
Concurrent Appointment
In addition to her role as Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Galibarenko was concurrently appointed as the Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the International Maritime Organization on September 25, 2015.
