Biography of Taylor Hanson
Taylor Hanson, an American actor, producer, composer, and director, was born on March 14, 1983, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA. He is a member of the band "Hanson" and is responsible for keyboards, percussion, bongos, tambourine, drums, acoustic and electric guitar, and piano. The group was formed when his brother Isaac was eleven, Taylor was nine, and their other brother Zac was six. They performed outside of clubs as an a cappella group in their hometown of Tulsa.
On May 6, 1997, the group released their first studio album, "Middle of Nowhere," on the major record label "Mercury Records." The first single, "MMMBop," reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. May 6th was declared "Hanson Day" in their hometown to celebrate the release of "Middle of Nowhere."
Early Life and Family
Taylor Hanson is the second child of Clarke Walker Hanson (born June 1, 1954) and Diana Frances Hanson (born April 30, 1954). He has six siblings: Clarke Isaac (born November 17, 1980), Zachary Walker (born October 22, 1985), Jessica Grace (born July 31, 1988), Avery Laurel (born November 4, 1990), Joshua Mackenzie (born January 7, 1994), and Zoe Genevieve (born January 14, 1998). He married Natalie Anne Bryant after performing in Atlanta during the "This Time Around" tour in August 2000. They got married on June 8, 2002, in the Ida Cason Chapel in Mountain Pine, Georgia. They have three children together: Jordan Ezra (born October 31, 2002), Penelope Anne (born April 19, 2005), and River Samuel (born September 4, 2006). They are expecting their fourth child, a son, in December 2008.
Acting Career
Taylor Hanson has appeared as a musical guest on the television show "Saturday Night Live" and has been involved in various projects, including "Tulsa, Toyko, and the Middle of Nowhere," "Buddy Faro," "Noah Knows Best," "Planet Pop," and "Hanson at the Fillmore." In 2002, he acted in Arlene Sanford's comedy film, "Frank McKlusky, C.I." He has also made guest appearances on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," "Melrose Place," "Sabrina the Teenage Witch," "Loose Women," "Jimmy Kimmel Live!," and the controversial comedy "Pauly Shore Is Dead." Additionally, Hanson composed the music for the family comedy film, "The Princess Diaries," in 2001.

Taylor Hanson is a co-founder and one of the main administrators of the label "3CG Records" along with his brothers Isaac and Zac Hanson. He goes by the nickname "Tay." His musical favorites include Gwen Stefani and Jewel. He has a pierced cartilage in his left ear since 1999. There is a scar under his left eye, a result of his love for wearing his hair down.
