Concert Career in Germany and Beyond
During the 1910s, Lambri established himself as a highly sought-after concert pianist in Germany. His captivating performances showcased his technical brilliance and profound musicality. He also ventured into Russia, making his debut in Moscow in 1908 with a concert featuring the works of Frédéric Chopin.
Notable Recordings
In 1905, Lambri made a significant contribution to the early history of audio recordings. His performance of Franz Schubert's Military March (in the transcription of Carl Tausig) became one of the most notable recordings produced by the Welte-Mignon company. This recording remains a testament to Lambri's exceptional talent and the pioneering nature of early audio technology.
